My friend, Martha, who has the beginnings of a column up on this website, called Self Portraits (check it out) sent me this photo today of Barack Obama giving a speech in Pennsylvania, two weeks before the election, that we now know rallied over into, do I dare say, a landslide victory! Not only for our country, but also for the entire world, following the status of this man like a barack barometer, not just because of his skin color, but because of his tag lines hope and change, which is precisely what this world needs. What struck me about the photo when I first saw it, were the crystal images surrounding Barack’s head that at first I thought were orbs, (beings without bodies) because they look just like this. And then, when I looked closer, I saw, a bit to my disappointment, that Barack’s jacket was wet. Orbs, rain drops, crystals, bubbles, however you choose to see them, or not see them, made me think that there’s something grand about to happen with Barack Obama’s new administration, already bringing hope back to humanity with the dawn of a new era that is progressively headed into peace, because that’s what we’re saying we desire.
What we can do as individuals to help aid peace along, as well as acting as collective citizens of the globe is to start getting along! The tables are turning with Barack opening the doors to allow the people with ideas to come to Washington, instead of letting Washington come to us with fractured agendas. It’s time to set up a moratorium on the brotherhood that works for the betterment of all people, regardless of race, creed, region or religion, that will unite us all as one people, without party, who have had enough war abuse, and who are ready for a change that works for the betterment of the world. This is the administration that will accomplish peace, and it won’t take eight years to do so, because peace is knocking at our doors, right now, and we have wasted enough time, already.
If it’s peace we desire, and I don’t just mean through Christmas Card greetings that Hallmark gives us to exchange, which is about the only time we acknowledge peace, but really desiring peace on an epic scale, that benefits all people, which is the only way peace can be achieved, by the way, then we have to stand up and affirm peace into our hearts. We have to take a thoughtful moment and say something like, yes, the quietude and beauty within my own heart, that I am desiring to become more familiar with because I remember that peace is who I am, is something that I would like to extend out to all people. This is what feels right to me, especially when I remember that I am a god, once sleeping, but now awake who has the power to accomplish anything, including peace on a global scale! Therefore, because I am a co-creator with the same God who is one with us all, I am surrendering it over to God to handle the outcome of my life on all matters and dedicating my life to peace, period. It’s as easy as that, and it’s a very grand statement to put out to the ethers, where it has a rippling effect that echoes out into the universe, with enough peace power to deliver us home, including those that don’t have the foresight to contemplate peace, much less say it. They are as worthy of peace as the rest of us are worthy of peace; they just don’t know it. What sleeping humanity needs, right now, especially during these difficult end times, is a helping hand, which critical mass can accomplish. Meaning more of us are thinking with a whole-centered higher consciousness, than are not-thinking very well, with a self-centered conscience. Critical mass was reached in August of 2005, and so it’s already happening!
Your higher self works best for you when you know what you want. If you can commit to peace by using a simple statement such as the one I just gave you, or better yet, said in your own words that reflect the unique person that you are, then consider yourself home free, because the universe takes you at your word. Even when our thoughts and words are garbled, which they usually are, is the reason why we’re in the messes we’re in, and also why it’s vitally important to know precisely what you want and then state it clearly. I desire peace. It is the desiring of something that allows the universe to manifest the outcome, because the universe is literally a mirror responding to your thinking, which is how creation works. It always has worked this way and it always will work this way, so be sure to change your thinking when it devalues yourself and others.
It takes a while longer for the universe to manifest through flesh because it has to work through mass density, where as in pure spirit you get what you desire, instantly, which means honing up on our patience and extending our faith during these difficult end times, (that sometimes seem as though they’ll never end) as well as believing that peace will be achieved, without all the doubting that keeps peace at bay because our doubts manifests more doubt. When you think peaceful thoughts you are contributing to the collective whole, which means you do make a difference! Best of all, you can be a worthy contributor without having to say anything or go anywhere because it’s all in the mind. Just think well. The more affirmed and specific you are, the likelier it is that you’ll get what you want, and not all the riff raff that happens when we allow our minds to wander backwards into pain, blame and shame, again and again, over and over, until this is what we continue to get, dizzy, without ever making progress. We have been like blind mice running around on a wheel that goes nowhere, except around and around. The key to getting off the wheel is to go forward with creative thinking, enough so that takes you out of the box of the same old, same old. Think well and your life will change for the betterment of us all.
Fast forward a few hours, while taking a break from the above paragraphs to go into town to buy groceries, NPR was on my car radio, and instead of turning it off, as I usually do when I hear the news; to my delight, this time around, off the mouse wheel, I came in upon a news-breaking story that Obama had just phoned John McCain to set up a meeting in Chicago to discuss ways that the two of them can work together, taking McCain up on his gracious concession speech offer of extending his support and help in any way possible. This is what I mean about foregoing parties. And then, of course, the next step will be to invite all the leaders of every country into a think tank meeting to put an end to the violence of war and the divisions of cultures that we think separate us, that are really so silly when we all have the same basic needs to be loved and understood for who we are. Sleeping gods who desire to become awake so that we can finally all get along and live as one people of the universe with liberty and justice for all beings.
