CELEBRATING LIGHT

christmas-2

Last week, my good friend and neighbor, Sara, while rummaging through some of her Christmas decorations that she wanted to share with me, held up a glass nativity set that she thought I might enjoy. And then, as if she remembered something important, she thought about it again and said, “you’re probably not interested in this since you’re not religious.” To this I emphatically replied, “but I do love Jesus and Mary and Joseph.” I put the glass menagerie into my box of goodies and thought about Jesus’ birth. And then, later, when I was walking home, pulling Desmond’s sled behind with me with all my treasures, I thought about the Christ within us all, imagining, once again, as I often do, what this will mean for us when we wake up and remember that we’re all Christ’s, too, for Christ’s sake, (no pun intended) and for God’s sake, who are leading the march for our humanity into peace. What I think about the most when I think about the shift of our awakening, (that will happen in a moment) is of a world full of grandeur and beauty, so spectacular and joyful and rich that we’ll have to create a new vocabulary and figure of speech to express by.

The message that I think about the most when I think about Jesus, which is often, especially as we close in on the quantum shift of our awakening, is that the Kingdom of Heaven lies within us, waiting patiently, (as it has been) to be discovered. It had a powerful effect on me as a child, and an even stronger one on me as an adult when I found the Christ within me, and the Christ within all people, that had nothing to do with a church. Rather, it had everything to do with my intuitive nature, as though somehow knowing that God were my right hand man. At twenty-two, I figured out that God was my saving grace, always had been, and always would be (what a relief) who has been my dearest friend ever since. That we’re gods is what Jesus came to tell us two-thousand years ago, through his love and kind acts of service to all mankind, which is what a god does, showing us what we would one day do, too, while proclaiming our divine status.

Now that we’re nearing the winter solstice, I think of Jesus leading us out of the darkness into the light, into the dawning of a New Age. Bringing together all beings in the universe, from near and afar, as brothers and sisters, who are The Sons and Daughters of God, loved unconditionally. God is preparing his children for a quantum shift into a new reality of light and love, and Christ is returning through our souls. And even though we’re still sleeping away at this knowledge, over-populated in the womb of our Great Mother on Earth as we are, who cannot see the light of this truth or this knowledge that we’ll be resurrected, or believe it can happen, I am convinced it will happen, or I wouldn’t be writing this website, which I have been guided to do.

We have been sleeping away at our truth that we’re gods for millions of years, because nobody ever told us our truth, with the exception of Jesus, who is a worshipped prophet who has become idolized, instead of emulated, which was the point in Jesus’ coming. To show us the way by his own example, which is nothing more than being kind. And while Jesus is a respected prophet of our people, he is not the only prophet for peace. Many millions of light-bringers, from earth and afar, are enlisted in God’s great army. Working for the betterment of all beings, gaining strength and god-speed momentum out of the collective consciousness that we all contribute to through our individual and collective acts of serving. The Quantum shift of our awakening into gods is here at this holiday season as we mingle with our friends and families, no matter how much we love them or hate them, it is all fine with God. Out of my deep love and respect for God and all humanity, I am celebrating our lives and our love for all souls who are lost and found, including me.

Only in the silence can we contemplate our true nature that speaks to us from the corridors of our minds, and through our intuition and emotions, known as our soul, especially as it’s mirrored in the reflections of nature. The outdoors brings out the best in us, if we let it, so rejoice and partake in this beautiful season in all its glory on the earth’s terrain, that, when we look close, is a heaven on earth existence. To know one’s self as a god-realized on this magnificent planet, while we’re still in a body of flesh is the goal, and the only place we can come to this knowledge. Explicitly drafted according to a blueprint that each and everyone of us drafted so we could play out our roles in the game of life, (if only we remembered how to play) is the reason that six billion of us are here today, and why we keep reincarnating back to this plane, because we want to remember ourselves as gods so we can evolve out of here into everlasting life.

Some of us, in solitude, especially without the temptation of an iPod, computer or Television screen, are able to enjoy the quiet reflections that come through contemplation and meditation. These inner thoughts help us to think about what we desire in life, and what we stand for, that ultimately shape us into who we are becoming through thought. It is wise to know that either you are thinking for yourself, which is what you want to do if you want to get out of your predicaments and become a god-realized, or you are allowing others to think for you, such as your mother, your father, your spouse, children, friends, newscasters, religions, governments, and even me for that matter. Think for yourself.

It’s the season to become pious and holy for a week, if you feel like it, and maybe go to church if this moves you. But the point is to be who you are in every moment of every day, even if you don’t know who that is, knowing that there is no right or wrong in the matter, it is all cool with God, who has no judgment in the matter, only love. God knows that we’re in sleep-training in the womb, beginning to stir, thank God, with some of us singing the heavenly praises and dropping off food donations, giving in so many ways to those in need with multiple acts of kindness. In fact, just today, while I was slowly waking up in bed, watching it snow, my neighbors, Dave and Greg and Jerry were out plowing and shoveling our sidewalk and driveway, (and others) out of a 12-inch snowfall! They do this without even thinking, because they like to be outside, and because they’re kind men who enjoy contributing to the greater good of us all. I think of them as gods, even though they probably don’t think this of themselves, I still do, as I think of all beings as gods, even those who wouldn’t consider doing anything for anyone, they are still gods to me, sleeping soundly.

May you be grateful for all the experiences that come to you, good and bad, that come for the purpose of learning. John and I and Bob, along with Humanity United for Global Peace, wish you and yours the quiet beauty of a holiday season filled with peace.

-Talia
